The Dairy Lama's homeland is Wisconsin, America’s dairyland.  It’s the home of friendly cheeseheads who encourage you to celebrate their low-carb dairy heritage through the wisdom and prose of MooKü poetry.

MooKü poems are Haiku poems using cheese and dairy as a metaphor for life. They are valued for the humor and insight they provide to site visitors.

Although creating a MooKü can be its own reward, we designate some contributors as a "Big Cheese." In addition to receiving the valuable bragging rights that come with such a title, a Big Cheese receives a block of cheese, sweet ambrosia of the dairyland.
